Official Records, court records and other public information are distinct products; a no-result in one system does not prove absence in another.

Recorded instruments and court cases should not be collapsed into one Duval search
The Official Records system is designed around recorded instruments such as deeds, mortgages, judgments, liens and marriage licenses. A court case belongs to a different record product even though both can be available through Clerk-related services.
The Public Records Department also handles complex requests and can direct a customer to the correct department when the requested document belongs elsewhere. That routing function is different from a recorded-document index.
Keep the record family and identifier with each hit. An instrument number, court case number and public-information request reference describe three different source trails.
